Amitabh Bachchan speaking on Aamir Khan said every person has a right to express his views in a democracy. Similarly the persons protesting withing the democratic setup are exercising their right to do so.
Amitabh steered clear of commenting on the Narmada issue, however and said he 'didn't have the details' and was not equipped to do so.
Meanwhile BJP leader and actor Shatrughan Sinha came out openly against Aamir Khan for his stand on Narmada dam and demanded that he apologize to the people of Gujarat for hurting their sentiments.
"An apology is not going to diminish your respect in any way." Shatrughan Sinha said in Patna. He said Aamir's stubborn attitude was harming his latest film 'Fanaa' which was taking a severe beating at many places, including Gujarat, causing losses to its producer Yash Chopra.
