The Rajnikanth Fans' Association has tradionally followed the point of view of Rajnikanth who's known to have a large following. This has also made Rajnikanth very important politically. On Sunday there was a sign of rebellion with the split in this group. A part of the group ignoring
the actor's statement that he would not extend open support to any party has decided to support the AIADMK led front for the coming Assembly polls.
The appeals of Satyanarayana, president of the association also seemed to have no impact on the office-bearers of 10 district units
Rajnikant, through Satyanarayana, had recently said that he would not support any party in the polls.
