25 MLAs, Jyotiraditya Scindia resign

A total of 25 Congress MLAs from Madhya Pradesh and Lok Sabha MP Jyotiraditya Scindia today met Sonia Gandhi, Congress party president in New Delhi and submitted their resignations expressing their support to and solidarity with her move to step down as member of Parliament and chairperson of the National Advisory Council on the office of profit issue
Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Jamuna Devi and state Congress president Subhash Yadav were also amongst those who reached Delhi to meet Sonia Gandhi and hand over their resignations. The Congress has 38 MLAs in the assembly which comprises of 230 members.

On Friday the leader of opposition had demanded the resignation of 11 state ministers, including Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on the grounds of holding offices of profit.
