HC stays order on papers in Shivani bhatnagar case

The Delhi High Court on Monday stayed operation of the order passed by an Additional Sessions Judge directing the prosecution to furnish suspended IPS officer R K Sharma copies of certain observations recorded by the Investigating Officer in the Shivani Bhatnagar murder case. The Delhi police had challenged the order passed by an Additional Sessions Judge on March 3, wherein he had directed that the prosecution furnish Sharma's observations recorded by the Investigating Officer who had interrogated Rakesh Bhatnagar, husband of Shivani, a journalist with Indian Express, who was murdered in 1999 here.
