Mumbai: A conman's desire to have a free dinner in a star hotel proved very costly for him and now he is cooling his heels behind bars. Police' said Jignesh Sharma (30) went to a prominent hotel in Juhu here last evening and had a sumptuous meal. But, thereafter, he proceeded to leave without paying the bill. On being accosted by the hotel employees, the man clamed he was a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) officer who had arrived from Delhi to make inquiries on the hotel. The hotel manager demanded to see his identity card but the man had none. The hotel employees nabbed the man and handed him over to the Santacruz police.
