A 14-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a 27-year-old youth who has been arrested following a complaint lodged by the girl.
The incident had occurred on January 26. The girl, who works as a housemaid, had stated in her complaint she was returning home at Ghatkopar here when she was accosted by Tilak Kumar Bind, a labourer, who raped her. The girl had lodged a complaint with the Sakinaka Police on January 28. This was the second rape in the city in the last two days as earlier on Saturday police had arrested one IT official on charges of repeatedly raping his minor maid.
