Ahmedabad: International General Secretary of VHP Pravin Togadia has received a death threat and a warning of dire consequences if he continued with his "anti-Muslim" agenda.
Sources in the Ahmedabad unit of VHP confirmed that a letter with death threats, bearing the name of Osama Bin Laden, was sent in the name of Togadia to their office in Ahmedabad.
He added that the police had been informed and they were investigating further.
He said the threat letter received on Saturday warned Togadia of dire consequences if he continued with his "anti-Muslim" agenda.
Togadia has received death threats in the past also and is under Z-plus security cover.
Incidentally, the Gujarat police has just arrested a man from Delhi and has summoned his father for allegedly sending "abusive" and "threatening" email to Chief Minister Narendra Modi.
