Bangalore: The popular south Indian actress Kushboo said on Tuesday that the London based magazine Maxim, by publishing an 'immodest' picture of hers in its latest Indian edition, had committed an 'unpardonable' act and their offer of apology was not acceptable to her.

"The magazine has come forward to offer only an apology which is not acceptable to me", she has said to a news agency.

Kushboo, who is already in the thick of a controversy over her remarks on pre-marital sex, said though she was yet to recover from it, the publication of such a' morphed picture had come as a rude shock.

"It is also a very bad taste and did not expect it". By publishing it, the magazine has done 'great damage' to her popularity, she said.

Pointing out that there was no going back on her decision to sue magazine, Kushboo said the quantum of damages had not yet been decided. The Indian edition of Maxim has used a morphed picture, depicting her in a two-piece suit in its latest edition.
