While the Mumbai police has nabbed two of the three
accused, who raped a South African model and film aspirant,
she may have been the target of a blue film racket.
Police has found several clippings of the model along
with the accused indicating that they were too be used
as MMS. Sunil Morpani and Suresh Kishnani had also organized
a prostitute in Ulhasnagar, proving that this was a
premeditated gang rape, to shoot group sex scenes.
The two hotels where the model was taken under the effects
of drugs are Raj Mahal in Kalyan and Amar in Ulhasnagar.
Suresh Krishnani is a wine shop owner in Ulhasnagar
and a 'good friend' of Sunil alias Aditya who is a model
coordinator and event manager.
The model, wanting to make a career in Mumbai, had
been in touch with Govind Singh Bawa, the son of the
owner of Bawa International Hotel who runs the business.
Introduced by common friends at a party at JW Marriott
Hotel, Govind had invited the girl to his hotel a few
weeks back.
The victim was having dinner at Bawa International
Hotel on December 28, where she got introduced to the
accused, who promised her a job in films. They then
allegedly drugged her drink, and when she felt uneasy,
offered to drop her home.
