Investigations are on into allegations that a 23-year-old
married woman was raped by two men in a moving car in
North-West Delhi.
A case was registered at the Narela police station against
the two, who are absconding, and the probe was on, police
said.
The victim, a resident of Sector 10 Narela, was going
to the market yesterday when she accepted a lift in
the car and was assaulted.
She was taken for medical examination this afternoon.
Meanwhile, police ruled out sexual assault in another
case in the Punjabi Bagh area where two women were found
lying in an injured condition near the Ring Road.
The two -- aged 55 and 35 -- were residents of a slum
cluster in Moti Nagar and were beaten up by an inebriated
neighbour following a dispute, a police spokesman said,
adding a case had been registered.
