Mumbai: She created flutter in many a young men’s heart and gave a tear or two while portraying a child artiste in Amar Prem. The ex wife of south star Kamal Hassan has once again staged a comeback. She will be judging the first sports film festival in Mumbai, as she is one among the jury members. She’s already seen over 80 films in the past few days.
The Film Festival of Sports and Television is being organized by Federation Internationale Cinema Television Sportifs (FICTS) Italy in association with Ten Films India and Fun Cinemas. The festival kicks off at Fun Cinema Andheri West from March 2- March 5.
Sarika is elated about the experience, and she feels it is different from the others she attended as a judge. Sarika looks at this festival as a unique opportunity to expose other sports to people other than cricket. Other jury members are Sudhir Mishra, Shobha De, Michael Ferreira and Ranjan Kapoor.
The festival includes exhibitions on education material, film screenings, conferences and seminars etc. One of its kind, the festival brings together film industry professionals and national and international sports.
Sarika is currently awaiting the release of three of her films Harry Puttar, Parzania and Secret Evil.
