Mumbai: In a bizarre incident, a 32-year-old housewife Nandini Kajrolkar reportedly ended her life by consuming poison on February 15 in her flat in Thane. She was later admitted to KEM Hospital in a serious condition, where she succumbed on Wednesday,
In her 10-page suicide note found by her brother Vinayak Penkar, she has stated that her husband Sandeep Kajrolkar, a clerk in Vasai court, is responsible for her death. The brother of the deceased stated that Sandeep used to click obscene pictures of Nandini on his mobile and enjoyed showing the same to his friends. The suicide note also alleges her husband for mentally and physically torturing her for want of money from the day one of their marriage. When Nandini informed this situation to her parents, her husband warned and threatened, with dare consequences, since he is employed in the court.
Mentally disturbed Nandini decided to take this drastic- step after. 14 years of her marriage leaving behind her 12-year-old son.
Vinayak, brother of the deceased lodged a complaint with Kapurbavdi police station. Meanwhile, the police have arrested her father-in-law Sadanand K Kajrolkar, with his wife Namrata and married daughter Vrishali N Rao under various sections of IPC and produced them before the judicial court who released them on bail. Police said Sandeep has not been arrested since he has applied for an anticipatory bail.
