Not one to sit idle for too long, the king of Bollywood Amitabh Bachchan has resumed work. Feeling rejuvenated and fresh yet again, Amitabh recorded a song for Aadesh Shrivastav's film Babul, produced and directed by B R Chopra. He is recognised as the perfect paragon of a professional performer. Despite being inflicted with such a serious illness in the recent past, Amitji is now full of energy.

"I've been recording the song for Babul since the past four days with Amitji. He is rocking with high energy levels. During the recording I almost forgot that Amitji is still recuperating" says Aadesh Shrivastav. When asked about the music and the lyrics of the song he refused to reveal any details. "I dread that the lyrics can be robbed, hence I will not give out a single chord to you. Recently, a well-known director cum producer had tried to tamper with my music, hence I like to be careful," he quips.

Prodded further, Shrivastav recalls, "During the picturisation of jumma chumma, I entered the shoot quite late and walked in leisurely thinking that the rehearsals of the song were in progress. But to my utter surprise, it was the real picturisation and the last shot in which Amitji had lipstick marks on his face was being recorded. As soon as I saw him, an unusual vocal burst out of me 'Ooooo.......', which became the highlight. Amitji just looked at me and said, 'Badmaash aa gaya'.

"Amitji is a person who appreciates talent. I have worked with him in 'Inquilab' 20 years ago. It has been a long association," he says. Commenting on Amitabh's sense of music, Shrivastav is quick to point out that Amitabh Is a true music lover. "He churns out the right chords with the right beats without being tuned. His style is unique. The man is a perfect creation of god with the assimilation of all the blends that ranks him above all. The blessings of god and the love of his audiences, which Amitji always respects, has brought him a long way. After all, Amitji has encashed a plethora of admiration and adulation from the masses and the classes, which is a rarely fulfilled desire".
