New Delhi: B S Yediyurappa, Bhartiya Janata Party's Karnataka unit president, is confident that the new government led by Janata Dal (Secular) rebel leader H D Kumaraswamy will take the office tomorrow.
Kumaraswamy was staying back in the state capital to sort out legal problems, which had risen in the wake of the Karnataka High Court hearing a petition against the decision of the assembly Speaker to accord legitimacy to the split group of the JD-S. The matter would again come up for hearing before a division bench.
But there is no change in Kumarswamy's stand and the JD(S)-BJP government will take oath on Feburary 3. He denied that there was any threat to the formation of the new government because of the stand taken by former prime minister who said that under no circumstance will he have any truck with the 'communal' BJP.
