Poonam Dhillon, a failed wife plays 'The Perfect Wife'

Mumbai: Film actresses are often accused of natak but Poonam Dhillon takes the cake (and perhaps the bakery) when it comes to wearing a mask around her. She plays 'The Perfect Wife' on the stage – a natak we have yet to check - but in her real life, she is far from perfect! Some even call her a golddigger.

Her first marriage with Ashok Thakeria, a businessman from East Africa who was a partner of Indra Kumar failed on an unhappy note. Thakeria was a businessman and Poonam Dhillon wanted to be treated royally, like a star she never was!

Disillusioned, she got involved with a married Sindhi businessman based in Hong Kong. Whether Thakeria dumped her or she walked out is unclear. But Poonam’s grouse till today is, that she didn’t get a paisa in settlement.

Her involvement broke the home of this Sindhi businessman. After almost ruining himself financially with lavish gifts and holidays with Poonam, he divorced his wife hoping to marry Poonam. But, realizing that not much was left, she dropped him like a hot potato.

The latest word about her is that she has found herself another bakra, a divorcee based in Bangalore and has even holidayed with him in London. Men galore but husbands are a problem for this 'Perfect Wife'! 'The Pefect Wife' is a sequel to earlier play 'The Perfect Husband'. The premier show of 'The Perfect Wife' was held at the ISKCON auditorium on Friday. The attendance showed that Poonam Dhillon doesn't wield much clout any more as except for her friend Padmini Kolhapure and Shabana Azmi no one of any importance came to see her first attempt on the stage. We have yet to see 'The Perfect Wife' and we may soon check one of the two shows she has planned.

Poonam Dhillon will not like it.

It is a very interesting observation.
May be because the glossies are not interested in the older actresses no one has written about this side of Poonam Dhillon.I know for a fact that whatever you have written about Ms Dhillon is right and she will not like it.
These people are so used to delusions that they just want to wish away anything that shows their ugly side.

Who cares if Poonam Dhillon cannot digest truth about her?

Who cares if Poonam Dhillon cannot digest truth about her? Parinda is doing what any media site should be doing. Lets have more about the private life of public figures, uglier the better. There already are too many in media, specially on TV, who are glorifying even people like Sanjay Dutt and Salman Khan!

Poonam Dhillon is very good natured..you can make out when she smiles..she also is very warm and friendly...I don't know her personally but I have seen many of her movies.
