Mumbai-Delhi Rajdhani to run overtime

Western Railway has decided to increase the frequency of special Rajdhani train between Mumbai Central and Hazrat Nizamuddin. The decision comes due to the heavy rush of passengers. The increased frequency will help in clearing the rush.

A Western Railway press release said on Saturday that train no. 2953A Mumbai Central-Nizamuddin Special Rajdhani train would leave Mumbai Central at 1530 hrs from April 18 to June 18 every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday and reach Nizammuddin at 1000 hrs the next day.

Similarly, train no. 2954A Nizamuddin-Mumbai Central Special Rajdhani train will leave Nizamuddin at 1450 hrs from April 16 to June 16 every Sunday, Wednesday and Friday and reach Mumbai Central at 0820 hrs the next day. The bookings opened from April 16.

The train will stop at Surat, Vadodra, Ratlam and Kota stations in both trips. It will have a First Class AC, AC 2 Tier, AC 3 Tier coaches along with a pantry car.
