Raj Kumar, who once ruled the South Indian film industry, died at the age of 77 years, at Bangalore. The actor died of cardiac arrest.
He worked for over 40 years and in over 200 films and had won Dada Saheb Phalke Award too.
His fans and friends called him "Annavaru", which means elder (Varu) brother (Anna). Way back in 2000 Rajkumar was kidnapped by the notorious forest bandit Veerappan.
