Milind Deora meets Johny Joseph

Mumbai: The water shortage in South Mumbai has become acute enough for the citizens to begin agitation. The main demand of the residents of the South Mumbai is to increase the water supplied to 250 million litres daily from the current 230 million litres a day.

Milind Deora, the young and dynamic MP from South Mumbai , led the MLAs and corporators from South Mumbai to call on BMC Commissioner Johny Joseph to press their demand. They presented a list of areas, including Cuffe Parade and Colaba, hit by water shortage.

The Municipal Commissioner Johny Joseph told them that the problem would be solved in a week's time.
