Mumbai: Priyanka Yadav, 20-year old daughter of a police head constable from Kalachowki police station, hung herself to a ceiling fan and committed suicide. She is a student of B.Com through postal course. Her annual examination was on.
According to Sr PI U S Suryavanshi, “Priyanka has left a suicide note saying that she was killing herself as she feared she would fail in the examination.
Priyanka committed suicide at her residence, a MHADA tenament near Swadeshi Mill, when she was alone at her home. Her mother and brother had gone out visiting. The brother found the house locked from inside, when he returned, and broke the door open to find his sister hanging from the ceiling fan.
Her body was taken to the Rajawadi Hospital for postmortem.
