Mumbai: Sachin Tendulkar is likely to resume batting, albeit with a lighter willow, a month ahead of Team India 's Carribean tour after a three-phase post-operation recovery programme, suggested by physio John Gloster.
'The programme aims to heal his shoulder and commence light bat batting by beginning of May,'' the BCCI said in a statement.
Sachin, who returned after a successful surgery in London , will not be allowed to move his arm much during the first phase and will do cycling and cardio exercises, which aim to allow tissue healing followed by an assessment by Gloster on 16th April.
