Rahul Dravid, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Irfan Pathan and a few others of the Indian cricket team, would participate in the benefit match for former Test opener Kenia Jayantilal to be held at Police Gymkhana ground in Mumbai on April 21.
Bollywood stars like Sunil Shetty and Nana Patekar, and cricketer Yuvraj Singh, Virender Sehwag, Mohd. Kaif, Anil Kumble, Ramesh Powar and Ajit Agarkar would also be part of the match, a press conference declared.
The match has been given the green signal by the Indian Cricket Board, Jayantilal said. He said he was grateful to the current players for making themselves available despite their tight schedule.
Jayantilal played one Test under Ajit Wadekar on the historic tour of the West Indies in 1971 when India recorded their first and only Test series triumph in the Caribbeans.
