The BSE Sensex pole valuted by 284 points today to end at 11564.36. The first day of trading in the new financial year saw FIIs, high networth investors and mutual funds buy aggresively. This time the rally had breadth, something it had lacked for weeks. The small cap index jumped by 3.23 % with many small cap stocks ending in upper circuit with no sellers available.
