Aftab Shivdasanl (Siddharth Sardesai) is a scientist out to create a human clone. He had tried it earlier too but was unsuccessful and lost his colleague (Sanjay). Confidentto be successful this time he decides to seek permission from Indian Medical Research Center and his mentor Dr. Krishnan (Paresh Rawal). However his dreams are shatterted when inspector Rathod intervenes and stops him from getting permission. A desperate Siddharth then takes a drastic step of cloning himself from where starts a trail of horrendous events. Ultimately every thing falls In place but not because Siddharth going through some disastrous consequences. The film has an innovative story idea against a sci-fi back drop but not many will be understanding the subject of cloning. The story is very intellectual and may not be understood by the ordinary viewer. Production values are average.Directorially fair. Performance wise Aftab Shivdasani is average. Bipasha Basu and Preeti Jhangianl are wasted. Paresh Rawal excels. Editing is crispy. Musically nothing to rave about. At the box-office: Being a difficult subject it may appeal to only multiplex audiences.
