TIGHI Is based on a story of, 3 sisters who are bold enough to face the harsh and hard realities of life as they come. They are daughters of a music teacher who lives a mediocre life.

Tragedy strikes the family when the house is attached by the bank a sa man who takes a bank loan on the surety of the house, absconds. The three daughters try to reclaim their ancestral house after repaying the bank loan.

The film tells the story in a direct manner. There are no unpleasant or surprising turns. It is a one-line emotional melodrama. Entertainment is missing. It Is like an NFDC film of the mid-60's and 70's. Bal Churi as the head of the family and his three daughters Aishwarya, Sarvari and Akshaya with Pradeep Patwardhan and Pandit have justified their roles. Music is of the classsical kind and goes well with the film. Camerawork (Shripad Phadkeand Shridhar Pujari) is good.

At the box office: the film, despite a good story, will appeal a limited section of the audience. It can derive some consolation by bagging a few awards.
