Producer-director Tinnu Verma's RAJA THAKUR brings back the glory of Shatrughan Sinha who is truly Bihar's golden-boy and plays the title role to 100%' perfection.

Shatrughan Sinha's sister commits suicide when the boy's (her would be husband's father) asks dowry. Being a poor man, she knows her brother will be helpless and she commits suicide. Shatrughan Sinha later becomes the Lord of the poor girls and gets them married at gunpoint when the boy's family ask dowry.

Manoj Tiwari is the son of a wicked man (Tinnu Verma) who is a dam contractor cheating the people. He is in love with Naghma whose father was promised marriage to Manoj Tiwari. Hell breaks loose when the wedding is called off. Action packed scenes and many fiery dialogue spoken by Shatrughan Sinha especially are the film's major highlights. Musically, excellent.
Direction (Tinu Verma) is good. Camerawork (Thomas Xavier) is good.

RAJA THAKUR will only appeal to a select class of audiences.
