JOR Is tale of two women Meera (Ayesha Takla) and Zeenat (Gul )anag). While Meera halls from orthodox and conservative village of Rajasthan, Zeenat Is from Himachal Pradesh. Destiny plays such turn that both women's husbands have gone to Saudi Arabia for jobs and somehow in a freak accident Meera's husband gets killed by Zeenat's husband. Police arrest him and according to Saudi law hecan be relieved only if deceased's wife agrees to forgive him. Now, Zeenat decides to come to Rajasthan in search of Meera to bail her husband out. And in this mission a 'bahurupiya' (Shreyas Talpade) helps her.

Nagesh Kukunoor is one of the brightest directors from young generation. He has always gone for different path. And with every film he is coming out a more stronger man. After IQBAL he proves that In DOR. He has created a extremely watchable plot out of thin plot. Though somehow one felt he could have touched both women's life styles more intensely still he has succeeded extremely well in creating emotional chord between two women. Chemistry between Ayesha Takia and Gul panag is highlight of the film. And to top of It the way Nagesh has presented Shreyas Talpade adequately. Nagesh knows how to mould actors in different characters In different films. From dumb young man In IQBAL to talkative 'bahurupiya' in DOR, Shreyas' transformation springs a huge surprise. Rajasthan never looked so beautiful. Dialogue is the major highlight of the film. There are number of scenes which have the Nagesh Kukunoor stamp. Though the film starts slowly it picks up scene by scene culminating into a climax is very sweet and short.

Production values are good. Technology very good. Script is very good. Dialogue are simply amazing. Musically good effort. Camerawork is superb. So Is editing. Performancewise Ayesha Takla is superb. Gul panag is very confident. Shreyas Talpade once again shows how talented an actor he is. Girish Karnad and Pratiksha Lonkar lend excellent support. Directorially one more very good effort from Nagesh Kukunoor.

At the box office it will need help of mouth publicity. Gentry will surely like it.
