Balma is a story of a lonely mother whose two wayward sons, staying in London, are brought back to their feet by a crook, played by the hero Manoj Tiwari 'Mridul'. The film's main attraction 'is the London portion where fun begins from veteran comedian Jagdeep who plays a tourist guide and helps Manoj Tiwari to achieve his aims. Urvashi Chaudhary who plays the lady love of Manoj Tiwari adds plenty of glamour and 'Oomph' while Vasmeen Khan and Aliza entertain in item numbers.

Shabnam Kapoor who plays the mother of the two sons Amit Parashar and Surya is good. The sons are okay. It is the star value of ManoJ Tiwari 'Mridul' which holds appeal. Dlrectorially, Aslam Sheikh shows . His command In the emotional and confrontation scenes. Musically, 'Kashi Banaras', 'Hum Tohra Mein Doob Jaaee', 'Raat Bhar Le Raja, and the item numbers are entertaining. Cinematography (Damodar Naldu) Is top class. Production values are extraordinary. BALMA 420 is the first real entertainment mixing the cultures of he East and West.
