Mr. Black & Mr. White movie review

One apt word to describe, Mr.Black & Mr. White, would be “TERRIBLE”, and it doesn’t end there, in fact that would be the mildest way to summarize it. One would be glad to display one’s entire vocabulary of expletives but lets save it for another time.

Mr.Black & Mr. White is devoid of any story or plot, the writers have been given a free hand to pen down any gibberish and the director (Deepak Shivdasani) has placed the camera at a clean spot and exposed the mayhem on screen.  The entire exercise is fruitless and painstaking for the audience to sit through. This one should be preserved in film schools as an example of what not to do with precious film-stock. But on a more serious note it is painful to see what depths bad film-making can fall to.

The actors  (Suniel Shetty) as wooden as ever, Arshad Warsi, such a good actor with such a bad choice of films, the rest never mind, they probably don’t know any better. Just wondered what motivated a sensitive and clear headed actress like Sandhya Mridul to do a cheap imitation of Charlie’s Angels.

Deepak Shivdasani is from the 80s school of film-making and it shows all over, there is no hint of direction in any frame in Mr.Black & Mr. White, it seems he placed the camera and forgot about it. After making such a disaster he should seek pre-mature retirement, at least the audiences would be saved of suffering any further disasters from him.

More importantly, if you have had the patience to read through this obituary of Mr. Black & Mr. White, it would be pretty loud and clear that it is hazardous to venture anywhere near it. Sit tight at home and enjoy the IPL.
