Krazzy 4 movie review
'Krazzy 4' produced by Rakesh Roshan's production company, Filmkraft is an attempt at a satirical comedy which falls way below expectations. The only favourable factor being that the length of the film is short and so it helps in softening the blow a little.

The premise in 'Krazzy 4' revolves around 4 inmates of a mental asylum getting a day out on Independence day with their doctor (Juhi Chawla) who gets kidnapped at the behest of her devious husband (Rajat Kapoor). The 4 crazy inmates are left stranded in a car. All of them wander off one by one and find their own adventure only to meet back again and help track down the missing doctor and nab her devious husband. The story (Rakesh Roshan) is extremely thin and the screenplay (Ashwini Dhir) to support is downright ridiculous and juvenile. How ever, the dialogues (Aswini Dhir) are witty and funny at some places.
Arshad Warsi in 'Krazzy 4' as the angry one does a fine job, but surprisingly goes out of character at quite a few places. Irfan Khan as the clinically hygienic one is the best of the lot although he too goes through periods of inertia. Rajpal Yadav as the eccentric freedom fighter is good at places. The most disappointing amongst the 4 is Suresh Menon who plays the dumb one who quite surprisingly gets his voice back when the screenplay needs it. The rest of the cast comprises of Juhi Chawla, who is competent, Rajat Kapoor hams through a cameo and Dia Mirza who makes an earnest attempt at playing a Barkha Dutt on screen.
The pre-release controversy with the music of ' Krazzy 4' being plagiarised may not help in getting the desired result on the box-office. The item songs of both Sharukh Khan and Rakhi Sawant have been forced into the screenplay. Jaideep Sen makes a feeble debut as a director and the weak story and screenplay further add to his woes.
All said and done, 'Krazzy 4' is way below par but the school vacation may just help it getting a decent opening at the box-office.
