Rama Rama kya hai Drama review

Rama Rama kya hai Dramaaa - Aaaaaaaaarrghh!

Statutory warning: Watching “Rama Rama kya hai Dramaa” could be hazardous to your health, that is if you last through it.  This one is undoubtedly the worst film, released so far and would wins hands down in the all time worst awards.

Having being consumed off all patience while watching it, there is hardly any left to be able to write about. But as a well meaning citizen, one must warn fellow citizens of impending disasters and so one is doing one’s good deed for the day. Taking heed of this piece of advice is purely voluntary.

However, seriously, it is a film that should have never been made as the effort that has gone into making it is of no consequence. There is neither a story to tell nor is there any form of entertainment being provided. The producers of this mindless piece of celluloid would have been better off using the money for a better cause.

It is a pity to watch talented actors such as Rajpal Yadav and Anupam Kher waste themselves over such pointless films. The rest of the cast one can sympathize with as they don’t have much going for them anyway. The director (S. Chandrakaant) has wasted an opportunity, has wasted his & his crew’s efforts and more importantly wasted the time of all those who, quite ignorantly, have subjected themselves to watch this torture.

For a moment during the interval the thought of finding the nearest exit did come to mind but due to stringent security reasons one had to sit through till the end. Honestly one deserves a bravery award to have lasted the whole 2 hours of unrelenting torture. So a friendly piece of advice, please do not venture anywhere near a theatre where, “Rama Rama kya hai Dramaaa” is running (though I doubt it will do so for very long) In fact, if you are a true lover of cinema, steer clear of this one lest you lose faith.

Rohit Tanejaa is a film director.
