Zeenat Aman
- Vikram Chandiramani
Zeenat Aman had won the Miss India contest and modelled quite a bit when she was signed by Dev Anand who was looking for a westernised girl for his 'Hare Rama Hare Krishna' (1971). Guru Dutt first spotted this dancer from Hyderabad in Telegu films. He signed her as a vamp in 'CID' in 1956. Around the same time, Guru Dutt and Waheeda felt passionately in love.
Urmila Matondkar
- Vikram Chandiramani
She began her career with Shekhar Kapur's film 'Masoom' while she was a mere kid. And although she made an impact with her debut, a couple of small films later, Urmila Matondkar was forgotten.
N Chandra, the ace filmmaker of 'Ankush' fame, noticed her and signed her as the second lead in 'Narsimha'. But that film too did little to revive her career. Despite being a flop actress, Urmila managed to sign films like 'Drohi' and 'Chamatkar', but unfortunately for her she didn't get anywhere.
